Shri Laxminarayan Temple
As the name suggests “Gurudham” is the abode/home of GURU. SHRIDEVI GURUDHAM is the home of her GURU Shri Shri 1008 Indraprastha & Haryana peethadhishwar Srimad Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Sudarshanacharya ji Maharaj, a renowned saint of Sri Ramanuj Sampradaya. This temple is an offering of faith and devotion of Sadhvi Shridevi for her GURUDEV.
Patron of Shridevi Gurudham Sadhvi Shridevi was inspired and instructed by the divine to build this temple. The vision imparted to her was one of a place where Bhakti (devotion) and Bhav (love and surrender to God) would be the primal force.
Hence on 9th May 2009 this beautiful & divine temple was founded.
This Institution is dedicated to Guruji (or Baba as he is lovingly known) and his teachings.
As today’s social environment shows prevalance of intolerance, angst and lowering of moral values. Shridevi Gurudham was formed with aim to provide peace & moral enhancement from the existing social degradation.
Sadhvi Shridevi built this institution with a desire to contribute to social cause of imparting spiritual & religious knowledge to the society.
Sadhvi Shridevi imparts Spiritual teaching & counselling with focus on guiding the humanity to choose the correct path of bhakti & righteous living and to follow the path of Vaishnav dharma.
Shridevi Gurudham resonates with chants of Lord Narayan. Yagya and rituals are performed as per the Sanatam Dharma. The mission of Shridevi Gurudham is solely to endeavour to enrich the spiritual experience in the life of followers by the trio-fold path as taught by the Sadgurudevi – “SEVA, SIMRAN and SATSANG”.
Every Sunday a programme of Bhajan Kirtan & Satsang followed by Bhandara is organised. Apart from this, all the festival are celebrated in the true Vedic fervour. As one enters the premises of Shridevi Gurudham one feels transported to another world and a sense of calm & disconnect from outside world descends.
