An unassuming simple personality with divine light around him he imparted the vedic knowledge, the Vaishnav sanskars in the simplest of language & form.He managed to light the bhakti fire in the hearts of the millions irrespective of age , caste, social strata & literacy. He welcomed each one educated or uneducated, rich or poor, young or old with same warmth and smile. Every minute of our lives lived in his proximity was time of learning. A true guru in each sense, he skillfully filled each ones life with a purpose of Bhakti. He addressed the wordly issues confronted by each of us in such a simple & loving manner that our hearts were filled with positivity and confidence. His presence was so august that merely by being around him each one was blessed – different people would receive as they desired – a businessman may be blessed with prosperity, a sick with health, a student with knowledge. No one came back empty handed. He would say “Have faith”, both this world and Spiritual world would be blessed and no truer words were spoken. Today he lives beyond his physical form in the hearts of millions of disciples.
Guruji was born in Rajasthan district Sawai Madhapur village Padla in an affluent Brahmin family with agricultural background. He was named Shambhu Dayal Sharma. From early childhood he had great faith and devotion for Lord Narayan. At the age of 3½ years he heard a Saint singing “Liya diya tere sang chalega, dharma karma ka naata hai, Sai naam ki chinta kar mayee dene wala data hai” (saying that only dharma stays with us, the daan given and naam taken are our true companions). These words had a profound impact on his mind. At age 7 he had taken a resolve to dedicate his life for welfare of humanity in the temple of Mahndipur Balaji in the presence of Maharaj Ganeshpuriji. He further studied Sanskrit and scriptures in Bada Khatla, Vrindavan in the guidance of his holiness Guru Shri Govindacharyaji of Ramanuj Sampradaya. It was here that he was initiated and finished his studies. Later he went to Kashi for indepth study of Vedas, Shastras and puranas etc. He was an ocean of divine wisdom and knowledge.
Subsequently he went into deep forest of Bhangarh and started severe penance. During this period he spent time in religious places like Panchmadhi, Narayanimata, Bhartrihari, Pandupur etc. Here he was blessed by divine in the form of a saint who told him that he would get whatever he wanted. He then returned and moved to Delhi he since then spent his time helping the needy with his prayers and guiding and counselling them.
In 1998 in the holy banks of Haridwar, in the presence of all saints of different Sampardayas, Tridandi Swami, Peethadheeshwars, Jagadgurus. He was bestowed with honor of Jagadguru.
He then constructed an extremely beautiful temple of Laxminarayan Bhagwan.
Guruji is an unparalleled shining star of Ramanuj Sampradaya. His one & only one mission was to serve humanity and guide them towards bhakti of Lord Narayan so that they could get salvation.
